“Frank Moore Memorial Fund” Set Up to Raise Money for Family of Local Hero Community encouraged to donate to the family of a Good Samaritan who was tragically murdered while trying to help his neighbor. Milwaukee resident, Frank Moore, was a hero in every sense of the word. The 38-year old husband and father of three was tragically shot and killed last week while valiantly trying to help a neighbor fend off an intruder. As a way providing financially for his family in their time of loss, Weather Tight, Corp. has setup the “Frank Moore Memorial Fund” at the Associated Bank in Hales Corners, WI. Frank Moore was a man anyone would be thankful to have as a neighbor. Late on July 23, Moore was home with his 3 sons, ages 14, 11 and 9, when he received a call telling him an intruder was breaking into his next-door neighbor’s house. Courageously, Moore took action. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, “Moore told his sons to stay put. He grabbed a baseball bat and left his house. By the time he arrived at the neighbor's home, the front door had been kicked in and he saw an intruder leaving by the back door. Armed with the bat, he confronted the intruder, who pulled a handgun and shot Moore.” To help the Moore’s family financially, Weather Tight Corp. has set up a Memorial fund at the Associated Bank in Hales Corners. “Moore was a recent customer of our, and a hero without parallel,” said Tod Colbert, President of Weather Tight. “We want to honor his memory and his fearless heroism with a financial donation to his family. Any contributions from people in the community will be much appreciated.” Donations to the “Frank Moore Memorial Fund” can be sent to: The Frank Moore Memorial Fund Associated Bank 10708 W.
